Client: University of Liverpool
Location: Liverpool, UK
Job Specification: EEG Room (Faraday cage) of dimensions 2.6m (L) x 2.2m (W) x 2.2m (H) to exclude ambient radio frequency / microwave interference to negate any conducted interference.
This is an area that Global EMC specialise in and offer our system 7000 solution which is a single skin shield with ultra-high performance. The installation of a window in this chamber meant that the shield level would be reduced to approx. -60dB.
The window installed in the chamber was double glazed and acoustic noise boxes were also installed to all air vents to ensure the maximum reduction of acoustic interference to the chamber.
"Global EMC managed the whole process from initial concept, through design to installation and commissioning."
